About the Role:

The ICT Manager will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and overseeing the development and maintenance of all computer and telecommunication systems within Graduate Plus. You will be responsible for implementing ICT strategies, ensuring system security, and supporting the smooth delivery of our training services. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of ICT education and contribute to the success of our training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse Information Needs: Assess the ICT needs of the organization and our students, recommending and implementing technology solutions to enhance training and operational effectiveness.
  • ICT Strategy & Policy Development: Formulate and lead the execution of ICT strategies, policies, and plans, aligning them with Graduate Plus’ educational objectives and operational goals.
  • System Installation & Integration: Direct the selection and installation of ICT resources, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and optimizing for training delivery.
  • User Training: Oversee the provision of user training for staff and students, ensuring effective use of ICT tools and systems to support both administrative tasks and course delivery.
  • Prioritize ICT Operations: Manage ICT operations, balancing priorities between system developments, maintenance, and the operational requirements of our training programs.
  • ICT Security: Ensure the security and integrity of ICT systems, implementing measures to protect sensitive data and prevent cyber threats.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with other departments to ensure that ICT systems meet the evolving needs of the training programs and organizational growth.
  • Innovation in ICT Training: Stay ahead of trends in ICT education and technology, recommending new tools or systems that can enhance the quality of our training services.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant experience in ICT management, preferably within a training or educational context.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop teams.
Experience in formulating ICT strategies, policies, and plans.
Extensive knowledge of ICT security practices and systems.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in the selection, installation, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure and resources.
